How are the cookies shipped?
All of our cookies are baked in the morning and shipped within hours of being baked. We ship by Lone Star Overnight, U.S. Priority Mail, UPS ground service and Federal Express. They usually arrive within two to three days after shipping, depending on which ground service best serves the destination.

How much time does One Smart Cookie need to process an order?
Our baking hours are 6:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M., Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed after 12:00 noon are baked the next day and any order placed after Wednesday will be processed the following Monday.  If a shipment is needed the next day, just ask about our overnight delivery. Please allow extra time if placing large orders.

Are you licensed?
Yes, One Smart Cookie is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Food Manufacturer. We are also inspected by the City of Abilene, Texas Environmental Health Department.

What makes your cookies so special?
Our cookies are soft and chewy and measure 3 to 3 ½ inches in diameter. We use only the finest ingredients (no preservatives or additives) and take pride in our homemade taste. In addition, all recipes have been through a rigorous “taste test” from cookie connoisseurs of all ages. Every batch is made from scratch, hand-packed, and packaged to meet your special request.

How long will the cookies retain their freshness?
If the cookies are stored in their original bag or an airtight container, they should maintain their freshness for 5 to 6 days.

Can I freeze the cookies?
You bet! They will last one month and can be taken out to thaw. It is advisable to place them in a freezer bag.
